"Michael had a deep knowledge of the history and background on all the Potsdam sights, making this a thorough and comprehensive tour. Michael covered so much ground that we could never have done this on our own within the time frame. Well worth the cost."
"Maria was an excellent guide, and made this walk so informative and so interesting that we decided it best to take the Potsdam walking tour. Her knowledge and passion made this one of our trip highlights."
"We really enjoyed our tour of Sachenhausen Concentration Camp with our guide Maria. She constantly made sure all members of the group were together. Her knowledge was amazing and her stories were told in an interesting way. What really impressed me was her passion and desire to ensure everyone knows of the horrors committed at this place to ensure nothing like this ever happens again. "
"J.J. was an incredible guide on the Third Reich tour. He told stories and answered questions that painted a picture of the time, the tension, and the significance of each stop. I wish I could pack J.J. in my backpack and take him with me throughout Berlin!"
"Jared was an excellent guide, knowledgable and personable he made it a great experience. Highly recommended."
"This tour was much more insightful and interesting than we had imagined it could be, thanks to Taylor. Nothing brings Berlin to life more than a true historian who is both sharp and witty! We only had 2 days in Berlin but we are so pleased we took this tour, covering all of the key places."
"The Tour is a must for any first time visitor to Berlin It's extremely relaxed yet informative and Taylor (our guide) knew his stuff. He was always willing to listen and answer questions but he was very insightful and filled in all the blanks you may have. The tour encapsulates most of the historic city centre and takes in most of the "must see" sights (the Berlin Wall, Brandenburg Gate, The Reichtag, the memorial to the murdered Jews" It's a well planned tour and I would (and have) recommended it to others "
"I normally avoid guided tours, the sense of dully repeated facts eventually grates on me and I end up bored and look for a chance to leave early. Not so with Jareds insider tour of Berlin! I was totally engaged from beginning to end. This was a multi faceted view of Berlin's history, with philosophy, politics, literature, movie and book quotes all interwoven with contemporary context. Jared has an amazing store of knowledge even the kids on the tour looked fascinated. "
"Exceptional Guide. I toured Central Europe for three weeks after this tour. Barnaby was by far the best of several guides I encountered, highly knowledgeable, appropriate sense of humor and the sensitivity to blend past and present issues. It doesn't hurt that he's easy to find in a crowd given his height!"
"My husband and I have always had a lot of interest in World War II history, so, upon visiting Berlin we had to see a concentration camp for ourselves. It's hard to believe people still deny it ever happened! Anyways, I don't think we could have had a friendlier, more knowledgable tour guide than Rachel. She really knew the information and spoke to us about things aside from the usual. She guided us to the bitter end and seemed very compelled and emotional by the camp herself. Definitely a 10/10 rating for her! "
