"A fantastic tour from a very knowledgeable tour guide. Brian our Canadian / German guide was very passionate in his story telling of the history of this great city. His 4 hour tour may have lasted over 7 but it was worth every penny (as we say in the UK). We learnt so much history of the city from the significance of the 9th November to the architecture of Schinkel to name but a few. Brian engages with the people on the tour it is not just a job to him but a passion After the tour he invited us all for a drink then on for a meal and to watch the football (Denmark v Japan, which Japan won). We finally managed to stagger home at 3.00am the following day after making lots of friends amongst the Irish, Australian, Danish and other Scottish group members. I would recommend this tour to anyone one who visits Berlin. We are only sorry we didn't get the chance to go on any of the other tours, but we hope to do this the next time we are in town. Once again Brian thanks for a great day and good luck with the opera."
"Have just returned from a fantastic week in Berlin made all the more exciting by the excellent tour guides from your company. We went to Sachsenhausen with Jessy and did the Cruise 'n' Walk Tour with Brian and they were the best tours I have ever been on. Informative, witty and extremely pleasant and helpful. Cannot praise them enough!! Will definately be using this company again."
"Great tour especially for someone like me who had only 1 day in berlin. Michael made the tour ( which went on almost for 6 hrs!) the best I have ever been on. I am going to come back to Berlin only to be able to take a couple more of the insider tours."
"What a fantastic day. A pleasant cruise on the Spree to see some of Berlin and then a 4 (plus a few more) hours walking with Brian who really conveyed his passion and knowledge of Berlin. A truely wonderful way to experience some of the highlights of this city. And drinks with Brian and other walkers later did really round off the day."
"What an amazing day! We joined Brian's tour by accident (there were only the 4 of us for the cruise n walk tour and we were asked if we would like to do the Famous Walk instead) and we couldn't have got luckier. Brian is an exceptional guide, maybe because of his dramatic background, and his enthusiasm just infected all of us. He is also inclusive and brought the disparate nationalities and ages of our group together to the extent that about half of us had a drink with him afterwards. The 4 hours stretched into nearly seven hours but it went by sooo quickly. We all learned a lot more than you could ever glean from a guidebook or from an average guide who doesn't have the love of Berlin that Brian has. A great day... thank you so much, Brian"
"He's was very entertaining and interesting. Very knowledgeable as well. Good job!"
"I actually had the good luck to get Mike as a tour guide two days in a row, for the Famous Tour on Monday and the Sachsenhausen Tour on Tuesday. Both tours were just incredible! Mike seemed to know every facet of German history and, because of his family's experiences, had insights that a lot of tour guides just couldn't possibly have had. I try to take a walking tour or two everywhere I go, and Mike is definitely my favorite guide so far. I can't wait to get back to Berlin and try out the rest of the tours to see how the other tour guides compare! "
"Hands down the best walking tour I've been on! Mike was bursting with energy and it was quite refreshing! I felt absolutely confident in his knowledge of the wonderful city of Berlin and would highly recommend this tour (with Mike on board) to anyone who would love to enhance their experience in Berlin. Cheers Mike!"
"We were in Berlin on business and frankly our expectations were fairly low to begin with...however, having an extra day, we decided to take advantage of it by touring the city. Since we were staying near one of the starting points of the tours and decided to 'hop on' the walking tour. Fortunately, Mike was the guide and made the history and city in general come alive - the five or so hours of the tour passed all too quickly. I would only reinterate what others have said about Mike as far as being super knowledgeable, enthusiastic (as you would expect from a Kiwi) and well prepared. The only missing item I would have liked to have had was his take on the Reichstag Building... otherwise, please do yourself a huge favor and a) take the walking tour; b) ask for Mike as your guide. Oddly enough, it actually made sitting in a hotel meeting room for three days much more bearable since we knew the history of the area that surrounded us - and we actually wound up giving 'mini-tours' in the evenings to our business associates based on Mike's tour info..."
"I just want say he is the MOST amazing Guide I have ever encountered in a long long while and I'm in the travel business.. The topic was Berlin, Cold War and the 3rd Reich... information-wise, every qualified guide will have But delivery!...This Nigel is the most captivating speaker. Can you imagine all 30 boys (only 15 years old) hanging onto every word that that falls from his lips I have never seen students (boys!!) run after a guide just because they want to hear more... Nigel MADE the Berlin trip for them No other guide they had came even remotely close to their experience with Nigel. I had a difficult time trying to round them up for the Krakow guide... Nigel's passion for the topic and his love for his job comes through... The entire group including the teachers sighed wistfully that the time with him ended...all too soon Nigel is a gem...you will be so lucky to get him on a tour...so so lucky!!"
