Tour: Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp
Guide: Mike
Date: 01.07.10

"We have been on many guided tours in many places. Mike's encyclopedic knowledge and passion for the subject made for one of the most remarkable tours we have taken. We unfortunately had to leave Berlin that day or I am sure we would have taken another tour with Insider Tours with Mike."

Tour: The Famous Insider Walk
Guide: Brian
Date: 22.06.10

"Brian was fantastic. It is obvious that he loves this city and is passionate about its history and people. He cried at least three times during the tour and we cried with him. It was his first tour of the season and it lasted six hours. We definitely got more than our money's worth."

Tour: The Famous Insider Walk
Guide: Brian
Date: 25.06.10

"I had the incredible good fortune to have Brian as a guide on this tour. A 4 hour tour that became 7 hours, plus drinks then dinner and much dancing at the famous Clärchen's Ballhaus is a day that I have been telling many people about already. I really really appreciated Brians passion and knowledge - and yes, he will bring tears to your eyes, in both laughter and sadness. I would also like to commend Brian for his dedication and care of his tour group, even once off-duty. A truely fantastic guide and an amazing ambassador for the city. Thanks Brian! "

Tour: The Famous Insider Walk
Guide: Barnaby
Date: 28.06.10

"We did our touring a little bit in reverse and probably should have taken this tour first, but later is better than never (we took the tours to Sachsenhausen and Dresdan before this one) and along with the other two tours, this was excellent as well. Barnaby, the tallest tour guide, and native of England, was wonderful -- his height made it easy to follow him and we especially enjoyed his animated "show" when he performed a brief geographic history of Berlin by drawing Germany in the dirt with a stick in the shade of a tree -- it was informative and entertaining! Barnaby's knowledge of Berlin and his enthusiasm in sharing it with our group was wonderful. We highly recommend Barnaby and this informative tour -- be advised, wear comfortable walking shoes -- you will cover a lot of ground! Highly recommended!"

Tour: Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp
Guide: Mike
Date: 25.06.10

"We have nothing but praise for New Zealand Mike and the tour he led to Sachsenhausen -- this was the first tour we took from Insider Tours and we subsequently took two more during our 8-day stay in Berlin. Mike is a walking encyclopedia of information, delivered passionately and with great knowledge and charm. He speaks fast and with clarity -- very easy to understand. We learned so much from him -- this tour will stay with us for a long time to come. We would highly recommend Mike and Berlin Insider Tours to anyone lucky enough to visit this fascinating and historic city."

Tour: The Famous Insider Walk
Guide: Barnaby
Date: 30.06.10

"The tour with Barnaby was very interesting and Barnaby really made the tour an incredible experience. Even though the tour lasted more than four hours, the time just flew because of Barnaby's enthusiasm and ability to make history come alive. I find the tour VERY recommendable"

Tour: The Famous Insider Walk
Guide: Barnaby
Date: 17.06.10

"Oh! What a wonderful 4 hours we had with Barnaby dancing and drawing in the sand and making sure we will remember at least one thing about Berlin, Karl Friedrich Schinkel! So good to have history come alive with humour and passion! We looked for Insider tours in Munich and thankfully did not go on any of the English guided tours there: listened in on some passing us and how boring they seemed!! Please start in Munich as well!!!Next time we are in Berlin we will try go on ALL your tours, definitely better than any theatre!"

Tour: The Famous Insider Walk
Guide: Mike
Date: 30.06.10

"I took the Famous Walk through Berlin with Mike on 6/30/2010. He was an amazing tour guide! Incredibly informative, passionate, and friendly, Mike absolutely made my Berlin experience. He is incredibly bright (and so young!), and he is willing to answer any question you pose. I have no doubt that had I gone alone I would have wasted time and not known what I was seeing. He knew so many "insider" details and anecdotes that I just had to book the Concentration Camp tour with him as well! His passion and respect for history is unbelievable. I am so glad that he helped to shape my experience and education of Berlin. A true educator and a model tour guide. "

Tour: The Famous Insider Walk
Guide: Brian
Date: 24/6/10

"The tour with Brian was fantastic, his knowledge and passion for Berlin was just amazing. He actually changed my opinion of the city. The way he told the story of the night that the berlin wall fell actually made you feel like you were there that night. The only disappointing thing for me was that I couldn't stay around longer at the pub with everyone else after the tour. "

Tour: Third Reich Berlin
Guide: Nigel
Date: 19.06.10

"On the weekend of 19th and 20th May my boyfriend and I chose two tours with Inside tour, one the Third Reich tour and the other one a walk tour of Berlin. Our guide was Nigel Dunkley and what an experience we had! Nigel made those two tours an unforgettable experience. It is not just his vast knowledge of the city and all its history; you would expect that from a Tour Guide, it is the way he delivers it. He made everybody feel instantly at ease as he has a unique gift in that he makes every single person in the group really special. His wit and sense of humour had us all in stiches. I liked the fact that he did not dwell on the gory side of events more than necessary when we did the Third Reich Tour, but kept to the facts in a very sober manner avoiding emotional tirades. We, as well as other members of the group I spoke to, considered ourselves extremely lucky to have gotten Nigel as our guide. He is truly a most gifted person whose love of Berlin and its history is so contagious that you come back home and want to find out more. He seems to speak a thousand different languages and he has lived all over the world so there is no person he meets he cannot instantly click with. He made my boyfriend and I want to go back to Berlin and do more tours with him. "
