"I took this tour because it wasn't available in Hebrew and it was fascinating to hear about this part of the history in the places it had happened. Mike knows all about it and the tour is recommended to everyone interested in the Nazi Germany era. I also took the pub crawl which apparently was for people below my age but I had a pleasant time with the charming Leticia."
"Thanks JJ for the informative talk/walk you gave us! just a reminder-we were the 2 ladies from India who were the first to reach on the day of the walk--does that ring a bell? We are back home with all the stories and more. Both mom and I wanted to thank you.Wish I had done this walk in my school days-I would have scored better grades! haha. All the best and thanks again."
"Brian Bell was a wonderful guide for Sachsenhausen concentration camp . He is incredibly sensitive in his presentation of this atrocity and incredibly informative and eloquent . Thank you so much from Eleanor and kids 16,14&10 . This is a must to go on this tour "
"This was an exceptional tour with Jared who is extremely intelligent with an anthropology degree and has taught in German universities too . Myself and my 16,14 & 10 year old kids benefited so much from his insightful tour of Berlin and it's true as he said to go and read up all the information he talked about afterwards is a must . Fact is Jared made it so interesting it makes you want to go over all the facts he mentioned and delve further into the history .Thank you Jared and the reason I said Indiana (his home town) was vibrant (he looked surprised by this) was more to do with the memory of the concert I did there , as also being back outside the Konzerthaus Berlin was for me a real memory of playing inside it . As Jared said it is truly a beautiful concert hall and well worth a visit ."
"Yay, finally Phil is listed on the site. Took the tour last year and had a wonderful time. Phil was an outstanding host with good humor and a great accent. Definitely recommend the tour to anyone that wants to get to know Berlin. Thanks again Phil!"
"We had a really impressive tour with this Australian man who took us right back to a very dark time in Germany. Passionate and very informative tour. I felt that I had everything as a guest and he told about the camp almost as if he had lived there himself. I had a weird feeling when we were done because I got all the important things and details from the tour. Like I´ve been there through Taylor. Very Very good guide and helpfull to take us from the city and back very smooth. I would love to take the tour again just to hear Taylors info and story about the camp. Our daughter ( 10 years old ) was blown away and she felt so blessed that she went on the tour because Taylor took the time to help us undertstand and told us the story. We will never forget this.. Thank You.... !! ps.. after the tour Taylor even got time to talk to the kids and tryed to learn danish and swedish , so still even if its a big tour ( of fellings up and down ) its a big nice ride home on the train... ;O)"
"After a splendid experience with Brian we decided to do the Sachsenhausen tour with Taylor. Taylor is a discreet, serious and very experienced guide. We were both blown away by his extensive knowledge of everything there is to know about concentration camps in Germany. We heard many detailed stories about what happened, but always presented in a discreet and objective manner. What especially struck me is his personal commitment and thoughts about the specific meaning behind the radical ideas that led to the erection of camps in those days. I specifically liked his broader views on the political backgrounds in Germany that time and the way he made clear how specific developments those days could be connected to our present history. Taylor, thanks for a splendid tour, we will not easily forget!"
"Usually I'm not really a tour lover. I did not have high expectations beforehand. I must say, what Brian showed that day really exceeded all my expectations. It was without any doubt one of the best tours I ever did. Brian has an extensive knowledge of the Berlin history but above all he managed to grab my attention all the time during this four hour tour. Apart from his knowledge, you also notice his theatrical experience, because he is more than a tourguide; I would call him an actor as well, entertaining his audience. Particurarly kids can benefit in a special way from his humorous approach. Brian, thanks again for a superb tour. Meeting more of the guides, you notice they work as a real team and love their job. Ric"
"A fascinating and insightful tour. Jared was excellent at explaining the history of the Third Reich and took us off the beaten bath away from some of the more well known sites. All of the students were impressed with his knowledge and enthusiasm. It was a pleasure to spend time with him talking about our mutual interests of German history and other things. Will definitely return for another tour."
"Really interesting and entertaining tour, brilliant guide, very enjoyable and funny, you can tell he loves history and Berlin equally!! Ms. O'Leary, your son is doing an amazing job, you must be proud of him and his dedication to his job!!! greetings from Spain!"
