Tour: The Famous Insider Walk
Guide: Tarek
Date: 12/04/13

"Tarek was the perfect guide. He was incedibly knowledgable but, more importantly, it was obvious he had a real passion for Berlin - its past, present and future. His presentation style was informative and also very engaging. My husband had never been to Berlin before and knew little of its history. It was my 4th visit to the city and 20th centuary German history is my teaching specialism yet Tarek offered something for both of us and for everyone in the group. He was very funny at certain points and spoke with real poignancy at others - absolutely brilliant. I would not hesitate to reccommend Insider Tours to anyone visiting Berlin and we fully intend to book with you again next time we're in the city."

Tour: The Famous Insider Walk
Guide: Tarek
Date: 24/02/13

"Wow what a great tour and what a great guide. The things we saw were amazing and Tarek's knowledge of them made them all the more so. We wouldn't have learned half of what we did about Berlin and Germany without him. I would recommend this tour and guide to anyone. What made the tour extra special is how Tarek went the extra mile. He told us about a rotating restaurant with limited availability and called to make reservations for them. He marked out places to go back to and additional places we might be interested in."

Tour: Third Reich Berlin
Guide: Nigel
Date: 15/02/13

"Concluding this tour with Nigel I found that I was apologising to him in every other sentence I uttered. This was somewhat out of the cultural reflex of being British, yet more so out of the persistent questioning and torrent of history in which I felt awash but surely had tired the poor man out after 5 hours. For it was Nigel who made my trip to Berlin, along with discovering the alcoves of a city that without him would have left me none the wiser. If you judge your experiences by the people you meet then I have met the 007 of tour guides. Do not denote this as gushing and think I overstate for effect and panache, I can honestly say that if you are engaged by the sweat, grime and humanity of history then he will engage with you. Nigel is a man best described by that old Anglo-Saxon word, interesting. "
