Tour: Berlin Today
Guide: Jared
Date: 27/04/13

"It was my second visit to Berlin and I had time for one walking tour. I was torn between the Famous Walk and Berlin Today. A very nice Irish guy from Insider Tours (John) said that Berlin Today would suit me better. How right he was! I was extremely lucky to get the tour guide (the lovely Jared) all to myself. It is a fabulous tour of a mixture of the lesser known parts of Berlin including a few tram rides and a stop for a yummy lunch. Jared is very knowledgeable about Berlin, it's history and people. He is also pretty clued-up about current affairs, film and TV and it was a very interesting tour for me. I'm sure I will be back in Berlin again and I will try to fit in more tours with Insider. They are a great tour company :)"

Tour: The Famous Insider Walk
Guide: Barnaby
Date: 27-03-13

"Barnaby took us on a walk in Berlin on a cold day in march 2013. Within a few minutes all of us completely forgot all about temperature thanks to his dedicated way of telling the histories of ancient and today's Berlin history. Great thanks to Barnaby for this great tour."

Tour: Insider's Potsdam
Guide: Tarek
Date: 20.04.13

"Tarek was our guide for the day. For over four hours, while on the train to Potsdam, during and on the way back to Berlin, Tarek explained the history and geography of the area in such an easy to understand and to remember manner that made the whole day such a wonderful experience. Tarek's attention to detail when explaining the Palace, the gardens, Cecilienhof, the Glienicke Bridge, and even taking the time to call ahead to arrange space at the cafe/bakery where we had lunch confirmed what we had already realized on our other insidertour.com tours. They are well worth the money (which is not much) as the guides are fabulous! Kudos to Tarek."

Tour: Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp
Guide: Nigel
Date: 04/04/13

"My first time to Berlin. Nigel is an exceptional tour guide who knows very well what he is doing. He is informative and passionate, that made the tour to the Sachsenhausen concentration camp very impressive. He is good in time management as well, didn't waste our time at all. He also put our safety first. I was really happy with the tour, I booked another 2 tours with Insider. I would have done all the tours that Insider offered if I stayed in Berlin a bit longer."

Tour: Jewish Berlin
Guide: Shlomit
Date: 01.03.13

"Shlomit was an incredible guide who was extremely passionate about what she showed us. There were only 3 of us on the tour so it was like having our own private tour of Jewish Berlin. Shlomit recommended many books on the subject and interesting facts that I would never have known had I not gone on this tour...I even ordered the book that she suggested on Stella Goldshlager...this tour is highly recommended and made a huge impact on my visit to Berlin...can't wait to return!"

Tour: Cold War Berlin
Guide: Mike
Date: 02.03.13

"An amazing walking tour of Cold War Berlin...an unforgettable experience that won't be forgotten. Mike was an incredible guide with his scholarly knowledge and passion for Cold War Berlin. I would never have seen these sights on my own. Mike cared about the people on his tour and was enthusiastic about answering all questions from the group. It was a cold gray day which was very affective.. I was traveling alone to Berlin after a business trip to Vienna and it was my first time in Berlin. I decided to go on two walking tours as it was the best way to see the things I was interested in, in a short period of time!!! THANK YOU - Insider Tours..."

Tour: Berlin Today
Guide: Maria
Date: 10/04/13

"After going on the Famous Tour on our first morning and being hugely impressed we decided to take another walk the next day which focussed on the different districts of Berlin and modern-day issues. This time we were guided by the equally knowledgeable and enthusiastic Maria. It was good to travel by bus and tram and get a glimpse of life outside the city centre. There were far fewer people on this walk but that had its plus points as we could all chat to one another and it made the travelling easier. We saw areas of Berlin that we otherwise would have missed and Maria pointed out places to go back to including the Anne Frank Centre. This was certainly worth a visit and provided a very moving, comprehensive account of Anne's short life, nicely juxtaposed with the thoughts and dreams of present day young people. This walk was excellent, as I am sure the rest of this company’s itinerary is, and I can definitely recommend them. They are also very reasonably priced and, if you have a Berlin Card, you can get a discount. "

Tour: The Famous Insider Walk
Guide: Tarek
Date: 09/04/13

"We prebooked the Famous Tour for our first morning. We were guided by Tarek who gave us a fantastic overview of German history, concentrating on the 20th century, and also took us around some of the ‘not-to-be-missed’ sights, giving us ideas of which places to explore in greater detail on consequent days. His knowledge of and enthusiasm for Germany, particularly Berlin, were infectious and the time just flew by despite the cold weather. We were so impressed that we decided to take another walk the next day which focussed on the different districts of Berlin and modern-day issues. Both of these walks were excellent, as I am sure the rest of this company’s itinerary is, and I can definitely recommend them. They are also very reasonably priced and, if you have a Berlin Card, you can get a discount. Very good value and an excellent introduction to Berlin."

"Super. It was one of these occasions when 4 hrs felt like 30 mins. The guide was very, very good and I can highly recommend both the tour company and the guide. Well spent time and money. Thank you Nickolai"
