Nigel's tour of the Sachsenhausen Concentration camp was my third insider tour while in Berlin. No disrespect to my other tour guides but Nigel was a great pleasure to be around. His knowledge of Berlin was above and beyond what I expected to get from a tour guide. I would encourage you to take a tour with Nigel, you will leave with a knew level of knowledge and understanding of Berlin's extensive history.
Thank You Nigel!!
Hi Michael,
Maureen and I would like to thank you for two days of wonderful and insightful tours. We really enjoyed the in-depth knowledge shared to the group on, at sometimes, very difficult subjects.
What a wonderful tour! It was the most informative and entertaining tour, especially for a day tour! The children were intrigued and interested the whole time too! I highly, highly recommend Insider Tours! Brian had us laughing and crying as we relived history. He made me fall in love with his city.
My first time in Germany and happy to be on the best tour I have ever been on! Brian has an unbelievable knowledge of Berlin history and also the Nazi era. He also was incredibly helpful to everyone on the tour, giving advice relating to other sites to go and see. I would recommend this tour company to anyone. They are amazingly well organised and the guides incredibly interesting.
I would like to greet Colin for the way he does his job. We (me and my family) went to Sachsenhausen at the end of July with him and everything was perfect (except for the weather: too hot!!!). He really knows what he talks about and we felt very comfortable.

We only had one day in Berlin and hit the jackpot ending up on a tour with Brian. He took us on a walk that had us feeling the horror of Hitlers Germany and then the sadness of a people divided by the Berlin Wall. However his enthusiasm and cheeky sense of humour prevented the day from becoming overwhelming. He made each person on the tour feel special (or not so special :) We walked for 7 hous and only one or two dropped out of our group of about 15 people. Brian had us gripped. His stories made Berlin come alive. I felt sorry for the poor people we saw on the hop on hop off bus tours during our walk (how boring). My advice if you want to see, feel, and understand Berlin and its history find Brian and go on the ride.
Tarek provided a cogent technical explanation of the development of perspective in art, and a concise easy to follow history of the period, but what made his narrative especially educational was the way he embedded the art in the cultural, historical, and religious milieu as we moved from about 1300 to well into the 1500's. We veered off into politics and sociology, and covered not only the Masters I was interested in but also some of 20th century German art, which again let to a discussion of art as a reflection of the culture and times in which it is produced. Absolutely fascinating discussion, I learned a great deal, which is exactly what I wanted to do. Thank you so much - Julia Nufer, Ph.D.

On our first visit to Berlin we decided to try out the walking tour after recommendations from friends. David was an absolutely fantastic guide and his humour, delivery and insight made this a truly enlightening and interesting experience. Cannot recommend him highly enough. Thanks David!
We had a great walking tour with Michael in Berlin. It was our first of its kind and was thoroughly informative and enjoyable.
Thanks for sharing so much knowledge with us, it really added a huge amount to our time in Berlin (and Europe!).

The interest for the tour was so large that it had to be split in two. Another guide was organised and I decided to join that group. The tour was very interesting despite the sensitive and difficult subject of it. Nigel has a fantastic skill to bring it across so 'lively and almost real that you feel like one travels back in time. I recommend the tour with Nigel as he is a very friendly guide who makes this tour worth it!
