"Kenny - you are truly fantastic - the best tour I have ever been on, with the best tour-guide by far!! What an inspiration. Let me know when the book is out, I will certainly buy it...so get writing."
"Totally stunning, never to be forgotten tour. Nigel is one seriously brilliant historian, not only a rich store of fantastic detail and wonderfully researched insider knowledge about the Nazi era which can only come with many years of professional fascination for his subject, but he also went out of his way to take us to places that no other guide seems to touch. All with great humor, huge charm, patience and sheer style so that the sub-zero temperature was totally forgotten and the hours flew by. You are truly blessed to count him on your team. We WILL return. Thanx, Jeff."
"This was one of the best tours I have ever been on. Kenny was very knowledgeable on the subject and provided many details that you'd probably never read about in the history books. I can't wait to take the Pub Crawl tour when I return to Berlin!"
"If I was to describe this tour in one word it would be 'mesmerizing'. Surely there are not many people that can make walking for almost 5 hours in sub zero temperatures, through snow, interesting and enjoyable - but Nigel can! He was absolutely brilliant, his knowledge and passion for the city of Berlin is infectious and invigorating. If you are lucky enough to have Nigel as your guide - consider yourself blessed! The only disappointment of the entire tour was that it had to end! I will be recommending to all."
"Guaranteed the best tour guide of them all. I've not heard any of the other ones, but I'm certain that he is the absolute insider of Berlin - and has first hand experience of the history of Berlin. Things that you will not hear from others... he should also receive an award for funniest insider tour guide. Cheers. Hans"
"A superb walk despite the snow and freezing weather- 5 hours passed very quickly. Nigel's expertise and presentation were excellent and his personal experience of Berlin and recent political events a great asset."
"Absolutely excellent tour. It totally made our trip. Kenny is friendly, informative, and makes the tour interesting and entertaining. So good we had to do Third Reich tour with him next day. If you do 1 tourist thing on your trip, do this tour with Kenny. I hope you are still wearing your green gloves Kenny ?! Daz and Karen, Manchester."
"Nigel was an absolutely fantastic tour guide of the Third Reich sites. He is extremely knowledgeable (based on his military and diplomatic background, as well as his own research), showers his charges with wonderful insights, and enlivens his tour with infectious enthusiasm. My family and I spent several hours with him and could have spent far more. I have read several histories about the Third Reich and WWII, but he truly made history come alive. What a great guide!"
"THIS WAS A GREAT TOUR. IT WAS MY FIRST TIME IN BERLIN AND I WANTED TO SEE THE THIRD REICH SITES. I HAD READ MANY BOOKS ON THE SUBJECT PROIR TO MY ARRIVAL AND THIS TOUR PROVED TO BE A GREAT INSIGHT TO THE ERA AND PUT YOU IN THE PLACES WHERE I HAD ONLY READ ABOUT BEFORE. KENNY WAS A SUPERB GUIDE AND HAD ALOT OF KNOWLEDGE ON THE SUBJECT. HE WAS MORE THAN HELPFUL WITH ANY QUESTIONS I HAD AND EVEN HAD TIME TO MAKE THE ODD JOKE WHICH KEPT EVERYONE AMUSED. CREDIT TO HIM GIVING THAT IT WAS SNOWING QUITE HEAVY AT TIMES AND HE MANAGED TO KEEP EVERYONES ATTENTION."
"Took Third Reich tour and the famous tour with Kenny and impressed even my German colleagues with all I'd learnt. Had far more fun than you usually have on a tour, learned a fantastic amount, and had a brilliant walk. Kenny is a genuine public servant -- as he says, 'there aren't a lot of laughs' in the Third Reich narrative -- but he made it manageable, meaningful, insightful... no mean feat. I'll buy the book too -- race you, Ken! cheers from Brussels -- couldn't recommend the tours or the guide more highly, only wish more cities had people and ideas like this!"
