"Being a walking tour guide in San Francisco, I have nothing but the greatest admiration for Nigel's work, knowledge and grasp of the historical significance of his Third Reich Tour. He made things come alive for us, and added details rarely found in history books. I have already recommended his tour to others thinking of visiting Berlin, and if I ever return to your fair city, I would be pleased to take more of the tours you offer. Kudos to Nigel, you have a good man there! HJ."

"Excellent tour around the city, going from the birth of Berlin to the fall of the wall. The guide, Kenny, was the best ever, friendly and story-telling History with passion and plenty of details, almost making you live the moments again. I didn't want the tour to finish, it was better than any movie! 5/5, thanks again! Quentin"

Tour: The Famous Insider Walk

Date: 2007-10-28

"We only had time(and money!) to stay in Berlin for two days, but the famous walking tour was a perfect chance to see some of Berlin's musts, led by a great guide who obviously knows what he's talking about and spammed our minds with information and anecdotes that we have been showing off to friends ever since :)In short, Derek is a smart and greatlooking(sorry!has to be said) guide, so a fantastic tour is guaranteed. Enjoy!"

"Derek was such an enthusiastic guide that he stretched the tour to 4 and 3/4 hours. His undoubted knowledge and sense of humour both amused and informed the whole of the large group throughout the tour. We did get one over on him though. He didn't know that an English group called Barclay James Harvest played to 175,000 people in front of the Reichstag on 30th August, 1980 long before Michael Jackson and the Stones!"

"Have to say this was the highlight of my trip to Berlin. Nigel's in depth knowledge and his ability to bring events to life was absolutely fascinating. The small details relating to Nazi architecture, the plot to blow up Hitler and what finally happened to the wee man with the mustache and his remains put the whole thing in a wonderfully grounded context. The best 5 hours I've spent outside the bedroom for quite some time ;-) Thank you very much Nigel."

"We'd like to thank our guide Kenny for a great tour. He brought the whole city alive for us - he was so enthusiatic and described the sites with great passion and knowledge. The histroy of Berlin has been a fascination of ours for years and to have been and had it all brought to life so well made our first trip very memorable. Cheers."

"Mr. Dunkley provided a richly detailed tour that was stimulating and informative. For nearly six hours he guided our group through the centuries of Berlin history and geography. Of particular interest to me were those sites related to WWII history. I'm sure there would be an audience for a tour more focused on this topic."
