Tour: The Famous Insider Walk
Guide: Brian
Date: 14.07.09

"I just wanted to say that this tour has been by far the best one my wife and i have been on in our 6 weeks of travelling. Brian is a true legend when it comes to a guide as his love, understanding and passion for Berlin is ever so present through out the entire tour. I feel I learnt more in a day with him than any history lesson at school could ever provide. I will be happy to suggest this tour to anyone I know who will be passing through this way. Thanks for a great day Brian."

"This is by far, the best city tour I have been on anywhere in the world in the last ten years of extensive travelling! Brian was the ABSOLUTE BEST GUIDE EVER! I just wish all my history teachers were like him. He was able to really bring to life what key events and dates meant: what the emotional implications were for ordinary citizens when the Wall came up in the night... what paranoia really means when everybody is just reporting day-to-day observations of friends around them... what Gunter Shebowski accidentally triggered. I never realized how much I took everyday freedoms for granted until I walked with Brian throughout Berlin. Very very VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. And when I come back to Berlin, I will definitely sign up for all the other tours, and hope Brian is in town to lead many of them."

"The best tour i have ever been on - with the best tour guide we`ve ever had! Not only was Brians knowledge of Berlin and German history endless, but his obvious passion for the city was truly inspiring...we have never had a tour guide who made us cry! We just wanted to give him a big hug at the end :) Lots of the love the Australian Girls (the four blonde ones) x x"

Tour: The Famous Insider Walk
Guide: Mike
Date: 01.07.09

"Mike!!! We spent 16 hours with him. It was definitely the highlight of our trip. Well, it started off with The Famous Insider Walk. In this 4-hour walk, we hit most of the major sites that we had wanted to hit, and saw it from a very "local" and historical perspective. Mike's enthusiasm and upbeat personality coupled with his amazing amount of knowledge about Berlin and history was what convinced us to come back the next day for the Sachsenhausen Memorial Tour. While Sachsenhausen itself is an extremely intense and emotional place to be at, Mike was able to present a great amount of information while helping us find the perfect balance of respect and remembrance for the history of the concentration camp. Lastly, we also took the Third Reich tour with Mike (by then, he was probably sick of seeing us!) Even with it being our third tour with him, we STILL learned so much new information. Mike went above and beyond as a tour guide and provided us with cool places to go and hang out at the end of our tours. He filled his tours with anecdotes that helped make Berlin a lot more personable and the visit itself a lot more enjoyable. If there was an award for "Awesomest Tour" and "Awesomest Tour Guide" Mike would win it. All of it. What can we say, we love Mike, and Insider Tours did a great job! If you are ever in Berlin and want to get a professional, accurate, fun, and manageable experience, you definitely want to take a walking tour with Mike. We want to come back to do the Cold War tour with Mike! "

Tour: The Famous Insider Walk
Guide: Barnaby
Date: 30.06.09

"Barnaby was awesome! Sorry...I just had to use it. Yes, Barnaby gave us one of the best tour guides in our lives...learned much more about Berlin's history than all those weeks in high school. Very intellectual tour, and spiced with British humor, what else can you ask for in a German city like Berlin? Once again, thanks..."

"Mike was the best tour guide we have ever had! We loved the walks so much that we also did the Third Reich tour with Mike the following day, and also the Sachsenhausen Concentration Tour with Jakub. Both tour guides went out of their way to help us with tips on places to go and where to eat. Mike especially helped us out heaps on where to get a huge schnitzel and a kartoffelpuffer (which I did end up finding at the kartoffelhaus, thanks Mike :D) and even got us a pamphlet on an underground tour we wanted to do. The tours themselves where excellent! We learnt and saw everything we possibly could have in the time we were there! I would highly recommend these tours to everyone! :)"

Tour: Third Reich Berlin
Guide: Barnaby
Date: 27.06.09

"Barnaby's knowledge of the Third Reich and conditions in Berlin during World War 2 is incredible. I wish my History Teacher had been as knowledgeable! From my perspective the highlight was the (former )German Air Ministry now the German Tax Office-it seems a very formidable building. On my next vist I will do Cold War Berlin. "

"Jessy led the Famous Walk tour and came across as being well informed and knowledgeable. For me the highlight of the trip was seeing the remains of the wall - nonetheless it encouraged me to do the Thrid Reich walk the following day. Agreat way to meet people and a great way to find out more about this interesting city."

"Did the Famous Insider Walk on June 19th, with Barnaby. His fund of knowledge was staggering. He engaged the entire group, and shared his wisdom of Berlin, the history and politics. He did a great job, and I would recommend this tour, your service, and this guide to anyone. Thank-you for a great experience Debra LeMay"
