I have been to Berlin a few times and did my own sightseeing but after being on the Famous Insider Walk tour with Jamie I learnt a whole lot more about Berlin. Jamie was a fantastic guide, he clearly knew so much about Berlin with great minute detail too. His style of presentation was perfect for this tour and he always had time to answer any questions on anything. Jamie was also very helpful in giving advice to people on the tour on what trains to get to their own locations after the tour was over. I highly recommend this tour to anyone, Jamie was a class act. I have never used Insider Tours before but I know now that I will never use anyone else for a guided tour. 10 out of 10 from me.

This tour is a sobering experience, but very worthwhile. There is no sense to make of WHY people would created a place like this, but Jessica helped us understand WHAT happened there. I appreciate that she conducts this tour from her personal belief that the more we know, the better able we will be to see that such a thing doesn't happen again anywhere. Her extensive research shows! Thanks, Jessica!

The long, complex history of Berlin came alive under Jessica's guidance. I had taken a city bus tour the day before, seen the "sights", but it took Jessica's chronological approach to made it understandable. Her humor and dramatic presentation made the experience a real treat!
After we did the 3rd Reich Tour on 3rd June we were all enthusiastic to go for another walk with the talented guides of this group and choose to do the Cold war Walk. We were totally happy with our choice and thoroughly enjoyed the walk. Barnaby is a very enthusiastic guide, well spoken, well learnt and as for the previous one this is also a very well put together tour.
3Cheers Barnaby...we enjoyed the tour with you. Thanks for making this trip so very memorable!
First I apologize for a delayed feedback. Sorry.
We were totally on a historical ride with this tour. Pen is a fantastic guide, love her voice projection and articulation. She was clear, simple and is an extremely talented guide. The tour is well composed and conducted.
We enjoyed it thoroughly and have been recommending it to friends.
Cheers Pen!!

I just realised how important is a good walking tour guide to enjoying your hoiliday completely is! Though Jamie made no quams about giving a tour from his perspective, he was very fair in his description of events and history of the city. I would recommend this tour to my friends. Thanks Jamie!!
The tour lead by Jessica at Sachsenhausen was fascinating, full of empathy and compassion, without any false note or melodramatic accents, just a reliable and sincere information. We were so impressed by Jessica’s guide talents that we decided instantly to follow her the next day on “the famous insider tour of Berlin”. And we discovered a different Jessica, plenty of life and humour, who gave us a coloured, vivid image about Berlin and its history. Warmest congratulations!
The tour was absolutely perfect and brought back a lot of great memories. Thanks a lot Jamie for your enthusiasm and knowledge. And the hostel tip was a great choice. Thanks. I´ll be recommending it and the tour myself to anyone going to Berlin.

I and 6 other friends go each year to a different European City - this year it was Berlin. We did the famous walk tour of Berlin with Nigel.
We all enjoyed this tour - however the rain came on this day - we still enjoyed it. It was a long day to say the least! We thoroughly enjoyed Nigel's commentary of the tour - his knowledge of the city and history - Berlin is a remarkable place and I will return to learn more about this place.
Join us for a fascinating day trip with a private bus to Dresden - the royal residence of the Saxon Kings, who established a city of such cultural and artistic splendour it was named “The Pearl of the Baroque” and is considered one of Germany's most beautiful cities.
