We first arrived in Berlin with little knowledge about the rise and fall of Hitler’s Third Reich.
After attending the Third Reich tour with Mike we were blown away with the level of enthusiasm and knowledge he had. We have now found ourselves eager to continue finding out more information where possible.
Oh and Mike was so accommodating that he even caught a train with us towards our accommodation to point out exactly where the best German food in Berlin could be found!! Your right Mike, best beer and pork knuckles in Berlin!

This was an excellent tour showing the sites and activities of East Berlin when the wall was erected. Barnaby was a wealth of information and anecdotes which he shared with our group throughout the tour. His knowledge and charisma made this tour a fantastic experience and I would recommend it to any visitor to Berlin who wants to know more about life in the city less than 3 decades ago. This was our first trip to Berlin and it was on our second last day we discovered this company which is a shame as we would have loved to do more tours as they are excellent value for money. I'll be honest and say that I'm not a big fan of concentration camp tours as I find them very upsetting but as my partner is a keen historian, I'm often dragged along for the ride. This tour was very different however and it was the guide Jessica who made it for me.She did not make it the morbid experience I expected. Her knowledge and passion for the subject
was 1st class and she was really attentive to all her guests ensuring time with each individual to answer any specific questions. I strongly recommend using this company and if possible ensure Jessica is your guide if you want the true history.

I have taken many walking tours and this was undoubtedly the best one ever. Jamie was a fantastic guide, full of information that was presented with grace, good humor, and incredible attention to detail. So we took the Famous Walk Tour ona rainy day in September and we were so not looking forward to it... And then, we met Pen. She was cheerful, enthusiastic and put us to ease at once. We were walking for almost 4 hours, but it never felt tiring at all. Pen was very informative, attentive and well versed with the city's history. It was great fun to be a part of her group and walk through Berlin's history. We totally recommend her to everyone! Thank you Pen for a wonderful tour!

We wanted to take the morning tour but as it was raining a lot we decided to join the afternoon tour instead. We have never heard a guide like Jamie he was super and told us a lot about Berlin that we didnt know. Unfortunately, we returned to Sweden on the 28 so we were unable to take another tour. My friend & I took this tour,having had it recommended by another tour company! From the group meeting at Hauptbanhof until our return to the city, Michael was attentive, informative, passionate & enthusiastic making what was a long day utterly fascinating. He spent some time individually with as many of the group as possible, which was difficult as there were nearly 30 of us, & where appropriate he was humourous & entertaining. This was a difficult tour to conduct but Michael pulled it off superbly. Would certainly recommend him & Insider Tours to anyone!
