This was an incredible tour. I learned more on this walk than I learned in all of my history classes combined. I think that it was the guide that made this tour. Barnaby was full of knowledge, laughs and fun. He truly made the tour interesting and the information retainable.
If you are going to do this tour you must request Barnaby as your guide.

Barnaby..conducted this tour with knowledge,humour and enthusiasm at a level more than you would expect...This is how Insider Tours deliver, professional academics with extensive knowledge but also very helpful in numerous ways..train routes,in depth explanations etc you name it. I have been on half a dozen tours now some with my father and some with my daughter...so ask yourself why. Simply the answer is you cant really do better..

Tarek did an awesome job guiding us through Berlin's history and the most important sights!
I can fully recommend this whole tour to anyone, who wanna have a compact, funny tour through Berlin's founding till the present.
Though, you need to plan about 4-5 hours for this tour. And don't forget to do a reservation for the Reichstag in advance, so you don't miss it on your trip!

We cannot recommend this trip enough. Jakub was the perfect guide, full of knowledge and compassion. We knew so little about Sachsenhausen when we arrived, but left obviously saddened by what we had seen but eager to learn more. It is so important that people do not forget. A great tour which perfectly complements the 24 hr on-off bus tour. Mike's knowledge of the city was superb and only matched by his enthusiasm; I would recommend this trip to anyone. We shall use this tour company again.
